Galaxy Aerospace_ Gulfstream Acquisitions

In 2001, Gulfstream Aerospace acquired Galaxy Aerospace, a subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries, for $330 million USD. Galaxy Aerospace produced the Astra and Galaxy business jets, which were later renamed as the G100 and G200 respectively.

Flight Safety International Gulfstream Partnership

In 2008, Gulfstream Aerospace partnered with FlightSafety International, a provider of professional aviation training, to establish the Gulfstream Training Center in Savannah, Georgia. The center offers simulator-based training for Gulfstream aircraft pilots and maintenance technicians

Honeywell Aerospace

In 2010, Gulfstream Aerospace partnered with Honeywell Aerospace, a supplier of avionics and engines, to develop the Gulfstream PlaneView cockpit system. The system features four large liquid crystal displays, a synthetic vision system, and enhanced navigation and communication capabilities.

Nordam Aerospace Gulfstream acquisition

In 2011, Gulfstream Aerospace acquired NORDAM Group’s G550 and G650 nacelle production line and facilities in Tulsa, Oklahoma. NORDAM Group is a manufacturer of aircraft components and structures. The acquisition enabled Gulfstream to have more control over the quality and delivery of its nacelles.

Jet Aviation Gulfstream partnership

In 2012, Gulfstream Aerospace partnered with Jet Aviation, a provider of aircraft maintenance and management services, to expand its service network in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Jet Aviation became an authorized warranty repair facility and service center for Gulfstream aircraft.

Flexjet Gulfstream partnership

In 2017, Gulfstream Aerospace partnered with Flexjet LLC, a provider of fractional jet ownership and leasing services, to launch the Red Label by Flexjet program. The program offers customers access to a fleet of customized Gulfstream aircraft with exclusive features and amenities.
